Sapphire has prepared an exclusive dual-GPU graphics card model Sapphire Radeon HD 7990 Atomic. This new graphics card has spectacular liquid cooling system, high clock frequency and a considerable price tag.
An important feature of Sapphire Radeon HD 7990 Atomic is o course liquid cooling system. In the circuit CZHO included a large water block that will extract heat from both the GPU, and from the power components and memory chips. To cool, the circulating fluid used large heat sink block, blown pair of 120-mm fans (up to 1200 rev / min). Fluid reservoir and pump is designed as a decorative module installed in the 5.25-inch drive bay system chassis.
For the Sapphire HD 7990 Atomic, it uses a 12-layer PCB. The power subsystem comprises o 18 phases (12 +4 +2). To link two graphics processors Tahiti XT2 used bridge PLX PEX8747. Expected level of TDP not announced, but considering the three 8-pin connector for additional power supply, instead of two in the sink Radeon HD 7990 and the TDP is above 375 watts.
Sapphire Radeon HD 7990 Atomic will features Six Mini-DisplayPort ports on the interface panel – no double-digit hint that the card will be primarily interesting for configurations with multiple screens.
Given the fact that new solutions from AMD Radeon HD 9xxx series will be announced probably in October, the company Sapphire has not much time to impress the most demanding and very wealthy enthusiasts who prefer graphical solutions with chips AMD. The recommended price of the device is not yet announced, but considering the cost of a Radeon HD 7990 reference design ($ 999), there is no doubt that the price will proposed four-digit number.
So, be ready for the best performing Sapphire Radeon HD 7990 Atomic graphic card of 2013, stay tuned for complete information of this device.
