Canon announced the new Canon EOS 70D DSLR camera which is featuring new focus system Dual Pixel CMOS AF, that allows to achieve instant and accurate focus in both photo and movie recording. Paired with 20.2 Megapixel sensor APS-C Canon, as well as a new image processor DIGIC 5 +, the camera make it possible to obtain excellent results in terms of both image quality and camera performance.
If you will compare the Canon EOS 70D with the model Canon EOS 60D, you will find it is slightly increased in active area of the sensor, with up to 14.9 x 22.3 15.0 x 22.5 mm and thanks to the use of the new DIGIC 5 + processor of noise, according to Canon, a 70D should be approximately at the same level as in RAW low-resolution photographs 60D. The quality of JPEG images should also increase significantly, not least due to the expansion of the range of ISO. This option now includes a value in the range from ISO 100 to 12800 (25600 in extended mode).
The new processor in Canon EOS 70D also increases the number of high-grade images at a maximum resolution that can be done in one second. Now that number has managed to bring up to 7 frames per second. The new camera uses a more compact body than its predecessor, equipped with a touch panel on the screen, allowing changing the focus, stereo microphone and Wi-Fi module that can be used to remotely control the camera.
